Zuccotto is a semifreddo dessert of Tuscan origin, with a hemispherical shape. The external part is made with sliced sponge cake with which the walls of the domed mold in which the semifreddo is prepared are covered, while the interior is based on custard, whipped cream, candied fruit, and chocolate.
