Pandoro is a typical dessert of the Christmas tradition of Verona. It has a truncated cone shape and is baked in molds with deep triangular grooves, so that when cut horizontally, the slice looks like a star. However, it is generally cut vertically and served in wedges.
The name comes from the warm golden color of its soft dough, given by the eggs. Today it is industrially made and sold on the market, especially during the Christmas period.
