Krapfen

Krapfen is a German sweet specialty, which in some coutries is called donut.

It is a large pancake made with leavened dough, stuffed with apricot jam or cream and fried in hot oil until it becomes swollen and golden. It is then served hot and sprinkled with sugar, in fact it should never be eaten cold.
