Fondue

Fondue is a typical Piedmontese preparation made with Fontina Valdostana, softened in milk, melted and enriched with butter, egg yolks and sometimes even with truffle slices. This dish is usually put at the center of the table inside a pan with bread cubes on two long and pointed forks.
