Roasted chestnuts
The roasted chestnut is a term that indicates the chestnut roasted with the peel in a special perforated iron pan, placed on the embers or on the fireplace. Before being put on the fire, the chestnut must always be engraved in the center in the rounded part, otherwise it could burst. To obtain a uniform cooking, the chestnuts must be made to jump in the container which must be moved repeatedly.
