Plaice

Plaice is a flat fish belonging to the Pleuronettidae family, which lives in the Atlantic Ocean and can reach almost one meter in length. Its body is flecked with orange scales. It is sold filleted, fresh or frozen and is generally prepared in a pan, floured and fried.
